Ann Lee Brown

Ann Lee Brown of 1863 Brandon Avenue, Petersburg VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Born on June 16, 1944 in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Anna Smith. She attended Petersburg School System and was a graduate of the Class of 1963. Ann worked at Central State Hospital for several years and later worked and retired from the City of Petersburg, Centre Hill Museum. Mrs. Brown was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ridley Brown. She is survived by her son, Howard Gregory Brown; mother-in-law, Martha H. Brown; three sisters-in-law, Alease White, Octavia Marshall, Cassondria Greene; two brothers-in-law, John J. Brown, Matt Brown; 2nd cousin, Samuel Putney. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Gillfield Baptist Church, 209 Penny Street Petersburg VA, 23803.
