Ann Dixon

Ann T. Dixon, 91, of Disputanta, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was retired from John Randolph Medical Center after twenty-five years of service as a Nurses Aide. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Brandon Episcopal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gray Dixon; and parents, Ulysses and Lovie Toler. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her daughters, Lois Harrison and husband Kenneth, and Charlene Temple and husband William S. â??Simmieâ?; grandchildren, Debra Harrison Keener, James David Harrison and wife Lisa, and Cheryl Reid and husband Tony; great-grandchildren, Ryan Keener, Christopher Keener, Kyle Keener, Joshuah Harrison, Jennifer Harrison, Kortney Reid, and Michael Reid; and four great-great-grandchildren; and other family members. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Gibby Elder officiating.
