Ann Randolph Lewis

Ann Randolph Lewis, 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 1, 2012, from complications of pneumonia. She was born on August 9, 1932, in Petersburg, Virginia, to Paul E. Williams Senior and Ann Cameron Williams of Petersburg, Virginia. Ann graduated from Southern Seminary and Junior College for girls in Buena Vista, Virginia. After graduating, she went on to become a successful real estate agent for Kiser Realty in Charlotte, North Carolina, for many years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paul E. Williams Jr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Boling Zehmer. She is survived by her son, Lunsford H. Lewis III of Greensboro, North Carolina and his wife Tranee Ramsey Lewis; and daughter, Ann Lewis Parker of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Lewis of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Justin and Jessica Parker of Atlanta, Georgia. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Virginia. Arrangements are being handled by J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Petersburg Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
