Ann Mills

Ann Estelle Writt Mills, age 72 of Chester, VA died Saturday, May 6, 2006. She was a loving wife and caring mother and grandmother. Mrs. Mills was born in Shepherdstown, WV the daughter of the late Charles C. and Myrtle C. Writt. She is survived by a husband of fifty - four years, Rev. Franklin M. Mills; three children, Bonnie Mills Thomas of Chester, Linda Mills Holliday and fiancé Dale W. Clark of Richmond, Trisha Mills Holden and husband Jeff of Chester; six grandchildren, Jamie Kellam, Jacob Holden, Benjamin and Jennifer Thomas, and Emily and PFC. Kristopher McWhirt; one great grandchild, Skyler Porter; two brothers, Lowell H. Writt and wife Margaret of Shepherdstown, WV, and John H. Writt also of Shepherdstown; and one sister, Mary Frazier and husband Ray of Fairmont, WV. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chester on Tuesday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park of Chester, VA.
