Ann Elizabeth Scott

Scott, Ann Elizabeth, age 84, of Chester, VA, went to her eternal home the morning of Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Ann was one of eleven children, born to Jennie and Benjamin Chambers, in Weeksville, NC. She is survived by her son, David Walter Scott; and daughters, Kathryn Smith, of Chesterfield, and Deborah Daniels, of Iowa; as well as six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Norman E. Scott, Sr.; and her son, Norman Earl Scott, Jr.

A devoted wife, loving mom,
Proud grandma, elated great-grandma (mee-maw)
And friend to so many

From sewing to Norman Rockwell to
Porcelain tea-pots to a flowers bloom,
That precious smile and gentle voice
Was sure to brighten a room

Her light will shine forever, through the stars at night we see
But with us in our hearts, forever she will be

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Road. Interment will directly follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.jtmorriss.com .
