Ann Sears

Mrs. Ann Riddick Sears, 68, of Petersburg, died January 9, 2005 in St. Mary?s Hospital, Richmond. She was born in Brunswick County, VA. Mrs. Sears was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Colonial Heights and was a retired cashier-cook in the cafeteria at Hopewell High School. She was the daughter of the late James H. and Sally Lowery Riddick. Surviving are her husband, John Edward ?Stumpy? Sears of Petersburg, a daughter, Nancy Tanner Wright, a son, James Lloyd ?J.L.? Tanner, a grandson, Kenneth Wayne Wright, a brother, Lewis Riddick, all of Hopewell and other family members. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 1 PM in Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jeff Davis Hwy., Colonial Heights with the Rev. Ray Haskett, pastor and Rev. Mark Houser, officiating.
