Anna Atkins White

Anna Lee Atkins White, age 63, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. White was a retired teacher with over thirty years of service. She taught English and Drama at Thomas Dale High School, L. C. Byrd, and Matoaca High School. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Paul Atkins. She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. Mrs. White is survived by her husband, William L. White; son, Laurence P. Mangiapane; and mother, Anna B. Atkins, all of Chesterfield. A graveside funeral service will take place at Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA, on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Wildlife Federation at 11100 Wildlife Center Dr. Reston, VA 20190-5362.
