Anna Brooks Miller

Anna Katherine Brooks Miller, 85, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011. She was a member of Blandford Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller worked as a greeter for Piccadillyâ??s in Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Clara Lee Pearson Brooks; her sons, John G. Lowder and Charles F. Lowder; and her husband, Charles H. Miller. Mrs. Miller is survived by her sister, Eleanor Brooks Holman; a brother, Charles W. Brooks; five grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA, with the Rev. Jacob Sahms officiating.
