Anna Isenhour, 92, of Hopewell, VA, died May 15, 2021. Born in Germany, married in Hickory, NC and lived most her adult life in Hopewell, VA. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who devoted many hours volunteering in her church. She was a Charter Member of Unity Baptist Church where she served as receptionist greeting members and guests at the door and volunteered for nursery service. She is survived by her son, Mark David Isenhour, and his wife, Betsy, of Topsail Beach, NC; grandchildren, Ana Marie Isenhour of Topsail Beach, NC; five great-grandchildren; her daughter, Stella Beth Whitsell, and her husband, Joe, of Locust Grove; grandchildren Morgan Estelle Young of Colonial Heights; two great-grandchildren, Douglas Gene Renshaw, Jr. of Locust Grove, and Marcus Lafayette Renshaw of Midlothian; two great-grandchildren, as well as several brother and sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Marcus LaFayette Isenhour. Also preceded in death by her grandson James Harley Isenhour; four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Jenkins, Pastor of Unity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at
