Anna Elizabeth McCord, 95, a resident of Westminster Canterbury, died Monday, October 29, 2007. Born in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Charles Warren Horn and Mary Hemperly Horn. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert K. McCord. Mrs. McCord was a member of St. Martinâ??s Episcopal Church in Richmond and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, National Number 0767816 Chancellor Wythe NSDAR.
She is survived by two nephews, Marvin McCord and William McCord; and two nieces, Brenda Reid and Lynn McCord.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martinâ??s Episcopal Church, 9000 St. Martinâ??s Lane, Richmond, Virginia, with Father Lee Hutchson officiating. Burial will take place in Hummelstown Cemetery, Hummelstown, Pennsylvania at a later date. The Purviance Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Wakefield, assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be posted on our website at www.jtmorriss.com .
