Anna Slack

Anna Marie Slack (McDonald), 80, of Chesterfield County, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. She was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Mary Jane and Daniel McDonald. She was predeceased in death by her husband, William David Slack, Sr. Anna was the beloved mother of William David Slack, Jr. of Aransas Pass, TX, three daughters, Diane Marie Willis and Kathleen S. Anderson (Rocky) of Chesterfield, and Carol S. MacGinnis of Richmond, beloved grandmother of seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 11, in City Point National Cemetery in Hopewell with the Rev. O. H. Burton, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annaâ??s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA, 23060. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
