Anne Brady Boylan

Anna May Brady Boylan “Anne”, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019. She was 91 years old. Anne came into this world on February 6, 1928, born to the late Matthew and Mary Brady of Sewell, NJ. In 1951, Anne married the late Leonard George Boylan and together they had six children, Joan Marie Bacon (Rob), Michael Leonard Boylan (Karen), Marianne Patricia Boylan, Edward Joseph Boylan (Linda), John Matthew Boylan (Whitney) and Robert Vincent Boylan (Mary). Anne “Nana” was also blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren, Tricia, Elizabeth, Katie, Chris, Sean, Peri, Mackin and Tanner; and eight great-grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Addison, Ryan, Thomas, Brady, Mary, and Evelyn. Anne was a long-time volunteer at Henrico Doctors Hospital which fueled her passion for helping others and making people laugh. She was quick to offer you a warm hug, or a back handed compliment, and never shied away from telling you what she really thought - even when she shouldn’t have. Her trademark boldness and quick wit will not be forgotten. Ask anyone who knew her – she was truly one of a kind. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Westhampton Memorial Park, Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Anna Boylan.
