Anne Elizabeth Hearney

Anne Elizabeth Hearney, 70, of Sutherland, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Elizabeth Pate and was also preceded in death by her sister, Rose Whitlow. Anne loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a floral designer, creating arrangements for every occasion. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Hearney; daughter, Jennifer Meadors Pierce (Mark); and grandchildren, Thomas Pierce and Vicktoria Pierce. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
