Anne Cashell Malcolmson

Anne Cashell Malcolmson, 82, of N. Chesterfield, died on May 28, 2024. She was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Jack Sharpless and Eleanor E.S. Cashell. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Bruce Robert Malcolmson. Anne was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She attended the University of Delaware for her degree in Medical Technology and worked to advance the field of medicine. She always made time for her family and would quilt, sew, and garden to maintain house and home. She was an active member of the James River Heritage Quilters Chapter of the Richmond Quilters Guild. She always looked forward to her next trip. She is survived by her children, David B. Malcolmson, Judith M. Jones (Paul), and Deborah M. Getch (Bill); her grandchildren, Douglas S. Jones and Ashley L. Jones; her sister, Virginia Kay Cashell; and numerous nieces. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society and American Heart Society.
