Anne Craig Rusmisell, of Prince George County, widow of Charles D. Rusmisell, passed away Friday, November 19, 2004. Born in Westfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late James Charlton and Jean Murray Craig. A graduate of Westfield High School, she received her B.A. from Mary Washington College and her M.A.T. from University of Virginia. She was a teacher of French in the Hampton, Virginia School System from 1952-1959, and Prince George High School from 1959-1988 where she served as Chairman of the Foreign Language Department from 1963-1988. She was a member of the American Association of Teachers of French, Mary Washington College and University of Virginia Alumni Associations, University of Virginia Athletics Foundation, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Metropolitan Opera Guild, and Christ and Grace Episcopal Church, Petersburg, Virgnia. Mrs. Rusmisell is survived by her sister, Joan Craig Stalknecht and husband, David of Willow Street, PA; nieces, Jeri S. Magri of Morganville, NJ and Laurie J. Stalknecht of Harrisonburg, VA; a nephew, David C. Stalknecht of Westfield, NJ; and a faithful canine, Coco. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, at Christ and Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 S. Sycamore Street, Petersburg, with the Reverend David Teschner, Rector, and the Reverend Boston Lackey, Rector Emeritus, officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Her remains rest at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Hopewell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ and Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 S.
