Anne Vest Savage

Anne Vest Savage, 81, of Chester, VA, passed away on October 16th, 2021 after a period of declining health. Originally from Hopewell, she resided in Matoaca for twenty years and settled in the Enon area of Chesterfield County. She was a member of Matoaca United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by Bob Savage, her loving husband of 35 years, and brother, Melvin L. Vest, Jr.
She is survived by sons, David J. Roane, Jr., and Robert L. Roane, both of Chester; grandchildren, Robert Lamar Roane, Joshua David Roane, Sarah Elizabeth Kennedy, Rebekah Marie Harrison, David J. Roane III, and Grace Yvonne-Louise Roane; great-grandson’s mom, Anthoinette Marie Seruby; great-grandchildren, Aden James Seruby, Jacob Alexander, Conner Samuel Roane, Alexander Matthew Harrison, Kellyann Grace Harrison, Jeffrey Ray Kennedy, Mikaylah Marie Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 from 6-8 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Hopewell Chapel at 820 W. Broadway. Graveside services will follow on Monday, October 25th, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family is asking all that can, to meet at the funeral home and participate in the procession to Bermuda Memorial Park. The family is planning to arrive at 11:30 AM for the 12:30 PM procession. There will be a meeting room available inside the building for additional visitation.
