Anne Louise Tennille

Anne Louise Tennille, 72, of Henrico, VA passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Richmond, VA she was the daughter of the late Frank Dermotte and Christine Deal Tennille. Anne worked in ophthalmology most of her nursing career for Dr. Paul McNeer and Commonwealth Eye Care Associates for 43 years retiring 1 year ago. She was dedicated to her job and the patients. The love and her generosity to her family and friends was paramount in her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron N. Smith; two brothers, Thomas E. Tennille and William “Bill” Tennille (Cathy); a sister, Sue T. Lipscomb (Mike Prindes); a step-son, Neal Smith, Jr.; one step-daughter, Debi Padgett; four step-granddaughters; one step great-grandson; four devoted nephews and nieces, Matthew Lipscomb (Brandy), Viki T. Frankenburger (David); Joe Tennille (Hollie) and Jeb Tennille; and 7 treasured great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
