Anne V. Riggan

Anne Ruth Varga Riggan 94, of Petersburg, died November 27, 2006 at Parham Road Health & Rehabilitation Center in Henrico Co. She was a native of Prince George Co., and daughter of the late John and Anna Yuhas Varga. She was the widow of Nash S. Riggan, Sr. She was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church and a retired employee with the food service of the Petersburg School system. She was preceded in death by her brother John Ben Varga and sister Emily V. Morris. She is survived by two sons, Nash S. Riggan, Jr. and Gregory A. Riggan; two daughters, Ruth R. Vidal and GeorgeAnne Fornear; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Daniel D. Varga. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, December 1, 2006 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
