Anne Heubi Wright

Anne Heubi Wright, 77, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Heubi and Hattie Elizabeth Dunn Heubi. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L. Gerald "Jerry" Wright; and sister, Ruth Haden.
Anne was employed with Lakeview Elementary School, as a Paraprofessional for 31 years, until her retirement. She was also the co-owner of Blue and Gray Relic Shop. Anne was a faithful member of Second Presbyterian Church, in Petersburg. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Mike Wright (Karen); daughter, Susan Wright Crew-Jackson (James); grandchildren, Savannah Crew (Eric) and Cameron Crew.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Second Presbyterian Church, 419 W. Washington St., Petersburg, VA 23803. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
