Annie Bailey

Ivor- Annie Betty Bailey, 89 died December 29, 2011 in Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.She was a native of Ivor and lived there most of her life. Her last years were spent with her son, Martin Bailey in Dahlgren.
She was a homemaker and worked 11 years as a teacherâ??s aide at Ivor Elementary School. She loved her church and served in numerous ministries throughout the years.
Survivors include her son, Martin Bailey of Dahlgren; two brothers, John T. Faircloth, Jr. and Hermer H. Faircloth; sister, Selma Graves; a grandson, Mark Bailey; and two great grandsons. She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. Faircloth, Sr. and Hope S. Faircloth; husband, John Earl Bailey, Sr., son, John Earl Bailey, Jr.; and brother, Allen Faircloth.
The funeral will be conducted on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Ivor Baptist Church with Rev. Chad McGinnis and Rev. Cliff Hedges officiating.
