Annie D. Moore

Annie Mae Dixon Moore, 87, of Hopewell died Thursday, June 14, 2007 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Dalton, GA and had been a long time resident of the Hopewell area. Mrs. Moore was a retired cook for Cracker Barrel Restaurants. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Sally Montgomery Dobson, her first husband Alvin R. C. Dixon and her second husband Clarence F. Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by three sons, Ken L. Dixon and his wife Joan of Chester, Wayne J. Dixon and his fiancée Patricia Johnson of Mt. Juliet, TN, Harry A. Dixon and his fiancée Vickie Williams of Madison Heights, VA, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, June 15, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ryan Atkinson of Matoaca Christian Fellowship officiating.
