Annie Amelia Glazier

Annie Amelia Walta Glazier, 76 of Disputanta, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born in Prince George County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Amelia Gaidowsky Walta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Glazier; and grandson, Adam Glazier;
Annie was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach. Her strongest passion in life was her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Glazier (Claudia), James Glazier (Valerie), Mark Glazier (Darla), Joseph D. Glazier (Melissa), Troy Glazier (Kevin Williamson), Samuel Glazier (Kelli), and Cindy Howell (Donald); grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, Olivia Glazier, Joseph L. Glazier, Peyton Glazier, Zachary Glazier, Abigail Glazier, Parker Glazier, Robert Glazier, Caroline Glazier and Benjamin Glazier; great-grandchildren, Summer Mitchell and Layla Mitchell; and sister, Elizabeth Whitman.
A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9300 Community Ln. Petersburg, VA 23805. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Church of the Sacred Heart, Petersburg or to the Little Sisters of the Poor, littlesistersofthepoor.org.
