Annie Herrin Minga, 90, of Smithfield passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Littleton L. Minga, Sr.; son, Littleton â??Pedoâ? L. Minga, Jr.; and sister, Vernie Harmon.
Mrs. Minga is survived by three granddaughters, Stacie Minga, Stephanie Minga and Laurie Minga and their mother, Diane McLaughlin; nine great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Linda J. Minga.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00AM Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Zuni and will be officiated by Rev. Leon Basham. The family is being served by the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wakefield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4600 Cox Rd. Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or to the Riverview United Methodist Church, 10696 Smithâ??s Neck Rd., Smithfield, VA, 23430. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
