Annie S. Bobbitt

Annie Mae Story Bobbitt, 98, of Sutherland, died Monday, March 16 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was a native of South Hampton and daughter of the late Billie C. and Annie Glover Story. She was predeceased by her husband William E. Bobbitt and a grandchild Robert McPeak. She was a hardworking woman serving 35 years with Brown & Williamson as a Case Packing Machinist. She is survived by her daughter, Helen McPeak of Sutherland; son, Clarence Edgerton and wife, Betty of Sutherland; five grandchildren, Shirley Ann Wells of Drakes Branch, Alfred McPeak, Ralph McPeak both of Sutherland; Gary Edgerton of Chester and Rusty Edgerton of Chesterfield; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
