Anthony Smith

Anthony Smith, 84, of Richmond died Tuesday, July 31, 2007. He was born in Canton, Ohio the son of the late Paul and Goldie Kingston Smith. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and was a retired SGT E-7 from the United States Army where he served in Korea and Vietnam and retired in 1969. He is survived by his son Doug L. Smith and wife Eileen; a grandchild Carly Smith; and a nephew Warren Smith. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2nd at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 3rd at St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church Cemetery in Petersburg.
