April Marie Lamkin, 45, of Hopewell, VA passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Adams, and Brenda Lamkin; mother, Shirley Shackelford and husband, Richard; brother, Andy Shackelford; and her grandmother, Barbara Catlett; as well as numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lamkin; and her brother, Jerry Shackelford. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 P.M. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
