Archie Greene Evans

Archie Greene Evans, 80, of Chester, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mildred Evans; and his wife, Carolyn Evans. Archie served honorably in the United States Air Force, and was a shift supervisor at Hercules in Hopewell for over 35 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Archie is survived by his sons, Boyd Evans (Brenda) and Troy Evans (LaCreasa); four grandchildren, Kayla Adkins (Jeremy Bouchee), Robin Saul (John), Ashlee Nix (Tyler), and Emily Cabaniss (Trey); five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Stacy Evans and Lorita Shelton (Billy); two brothers, Randolph Evans (Pat) and David Evans (DeDe); and numerous extended family members and friends. All services are private. In lieu of flowers, prayers and privacy for the family is requested at this time.
