Arleen M. Cooper

Bertha Arleen Cooper, 88, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday November 10, 2012. She was born July 10, 1924 in Albemarle County and was preceded in death by her parents; Richard M. Sr., and Bertha Shackelford Moon, husband; John M. Cooper, four brothers; Richard, Thomas, Stuart, and Robert Moon, two sisters; Dorothy Davis and Blanche Parrott. Arleen was a member of Gill Grove Baptist Church since 1985, and a member of Dinwiddie Chapter 1296 Women of the Moose. She is survived by a sister; Elizabeth Mawyer of Hickory NC, brother; Billy Moon of Charlottesville, five nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service Tuesday November 13, 2012 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
