Arline Phillips

Arline Poland Phillips, 92, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Phillips was retired manager with Virginia Employment Commission. and a member of the Womanâ??s club of Hopewell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Poland and Ida McClary Poland Kuykendall and her step-father, Charles C. Kuykendall and her husband of 62 years, Elroy Bunyan Phillips. Surviving are her sister, Audrey â??Tillieâ? P. Cuddihy of Hopewell, four nieces, Marian C. Turner, Linda C. Lewis, both of Hopewell, Sandra C. Lyttle of Mosley, Va., and Nancy J. Cuddihy of Chester, Va. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 2-3:30 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va. with Bob Lane , pastor of First Christian Church officiating.
