Arling Mae Daniels

Arling Mae Daniels, 91, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She was the daughter of the late George Hermon and Naomi Hope Hawkins. She is survived by her seven children, Ronald E. Daniels and wife, Susan, Carolyn D. Parham and husband, Jerry, J. Keith Daniels and wife, Judy, Elizabeth K. Miles and husband, Ernie, Paige D. Clark and husband, Ricky, Gayle D. McCray and husband, Keith, George A. Daniels and wife, Angela; 17 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marceline Perkinson-Shields, and husband, Larry. Arling was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights; she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and will be greatly missed. For the last 5 years, Arling resided at Lucy Corr Village and was cared for by many nurses and aids near and dear to her heart. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831.
