Arnold Stanley Conrad

Arnold Stanley Conrad, 75, passed away on May 18, 2017 at his home in Chesterfield, VA. He was born on December 30, 1941 in Oakland, CA to the late Josephine Szymanski Conrad Long and Anton Conrad. He grew up in New York City, joined the Marines for 4 years then moved to Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Andrea Lilienthal Conrad; a son, Michael Stanley Conrad of Texas; a grandson, Dillon Michael Conrad of California; step-sister, Joan Long of Hopewell; sister-in-law, Bonnie Harmon and her husband, Andrew Harmon of Chesterfield; a sister-in-law, Carol Pendleton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arnold retired from the post office in 1977 and has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1800 Johnson Rd., Petersburg, VA 23805. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
