Arnold Lloyd Halterman

Arnold Lloyd Halterman, Retired Chief Petty Officer, US Navy, went to be with his beloved father on August 7, 2022. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church and served proudly for 21 years in various branches of the United States Military and 18 years as a Welding Instructor at John Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Iva Rexrode Halterman; and his son, Gerald L. Halterman. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Evelyn Mary Wyant Halterman; three daughters, Nancy Rizzuto, Wanda Tyler (William), and Patricia H. Atkinson; two sons, Larry Halterman (Sandi) and Dennis C. Stanfield (Cindy); six grandchildren, Naomi, Nicholas, Jennifer, Shannon, Justin, and Laura; seven great-grandchildren, Maddux, Abigail, Ansley, Jonathan, Caitlin, Keaghan, and Finley; brother-in-law, James Nelson Wyant (Leona); and sister-in-law, Evelyn Bonnie Wyant. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12 from 12-1 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, where a funeral service will take place at 1 PM. Rev. James Woodburn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
