Arthur Thomas Andrews, Sr.

Arthur Thomas "Mousie" Andrews, Sr., 84, of 29 Rawlings Lane, Petersburg, VA, departed his Earthly life on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
A lifelong resident and a retired employee of the former Allied Chemical. Mousie was the son of the late, Linwood and Minnie Stell Andrews. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as active member of his church community and a volunteer for both Habitat for Humanity and Tri-Cities Work Camp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys B. Andrews; and brothers, Robert, Donald, Raymond, Gerald, and Dennis Andrews.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin A Crites (John), of Chesterfield; and sons, Arthur T. Andrews, Jr. (Jody), of Richmond, and Barry Allen Andrews (Mary Beth), of Prince George; grandchildren, Amy Crites, Randi Hawkins, Kristen, Michael, and Devan Andrews, and Leta Judd and Rachel Milano; great-grandchildren, Braden, Cadence, Mazi, Jaydin, Zachariah and Jaxsyn; his sister, Jean Stell; and two brothers, Clifton (JoAnn) and Stanley Andrews. Also left to cherish his name is his significant other of more than 20 years, Evelyn B Atkins; and her children, Marie Turner and James Atkins; loving adoptive daughter, Lorraine Curling; grandchildren, Rusty, Greg, Dylan, Devon, Landon, Braydon, and Chase; and two great-grandchildren, Callie and Tatum.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM, at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel, 103 S. Adams Street, Petersburg. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg.
