Arthur Donald Bostic, Jr.

Arthur Donald "Don" Bostic, Jr., 87, of Dinwiddie County, Virginia, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur D. Bostic, Sr., and Jeanette Bostic; his grandson, Michael Phillips; his granddaughter, Tiffany Mullins; and his brother, Ray Bostic.

Mr. Bostic worked for B.P. Short in Petersburg, VA, for 62 years. In recent years, he worked for Bostic Real Estate Properties, LLC, clearing lots for new home construction. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Carol Bostic; sons, Donnie Bostic III (Kim), of Dinwiddie, VA and David Shultis (Heike), of Connecticut; daughters, Kim Bostic (Tommy), of Colonial Heights, VA, Faith Davis (Robbie), of Chesterfield, VA, and Hope Rowlett (WG), of Stafford, VA; grandsons, Donnie Bostic IV (Leslie), of Dinwiddie, VA and Chris Davis (Ashley), of Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughters, Laurin Rowlett, of Florida, Kendal Sakiewicz (Shea), of Chester, VA, and Jessica Shultis, of Connecticut; grandson-in-law, Ben Mullins, of Dinwiddie, VA; great-grandchildren, Dyllon, Gabrielle, and Hannah Bostic, Kaylee Mullins, Nora, Emma, and Bodie Sakiewicz, Greyson, Ellie, and Savannah Davis; stepbrothers, Ronald and Richard Bostic, of New York; and stepsister, Donna Getchell, of New York.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Western Heights Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
