Arthur Everett Davis

Arthur Everett Davis, 93, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Davis; and son, Eric Davis. Arthur was a 20 year veteran of the US Army, having served in both the infantry and airborne. He earned a combat infantry badge during the Korean War. After retiring from the military, he was a sales associate with JC Penney in Petersburg for 20 years. Following retirement, he and his wife enjoyed their lives together, traveling the world. Arthur is survived by his two children, Shawn Davis and Annette Davis Cull; along with his grandchildren, Chelsea and Sydney Woods. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Road. A funeral will be held in this chapel on Monday, January 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with interment following the service at Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Henrico.
