Athleen Geddings Moore, 90, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Glenn Moore; parents, Boyce Christopher and Jane Arlene Pierson Geddings of Sumter, SC., and also her son, Darryl Andrews of Missouri. Granny “A” appreciated the care that Pam Lussier and Nicole Fenner showed her. She loved to travel, collect dolls and her favorite colors were purple and lavender. She had a love for flowers and of course Elvis. Mrs. Moore was survived by her daughter, Pamela Moneymaker of Prince George; son, Glenn Moore, II., and wife, Jennifer of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Robby Phillingane of Prince George, Pam Lussier “Sissy Pam” of Dinwiddie, Nicole Fenner and husband, TJ of N. Chesterfield, Sydney Andrews of NY, and Jenna Andrews of California. She also had five great-grandchildren, with one being, Alli Fenner which was her Granny “A’s” heart and six great great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at City Point National Cemetery 499 N. 10th Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860, with the Reverend Steve King officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angel DeSouza School of Dance at 2108 Boulevard Colonial Heights, VA 23834, in her memory for a child to be able to dance.
