Audella Grubb Evans

Audella B. Evans died March 20, 2017, after a lengthy illness. A longtime resident of Chester, she was a retiree of Chesterfield County Schools where she worked as a Teacher's Assistant and School Bus Driver. Before her illness, she was an active member of Enon Church of God where she taught Sunday School, sang in the Choir, and worked in the Lady's Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas C. Evans, Sr.; her son, William B. Evans, Sr.; her parents, Bernard B. and Mollie Elizabeth Grubb; her sister, Francis G. Brown and 3 infant siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal E. Watson and her husband, Dennis W. Watson; her son, Chester G. Evans, Sr., and his wife, Tina W. Evans; her son, Douglas C. Evans, Jr. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and their families, 11great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Her presence is greatly missed and she will be eternally loved. The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at J. T. Morriss & son Funeral Home in Chester, VA., where a service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
