Audrey Olivia Williams Brooks

Audrey Olivia Williams Brooks, 95, of Dinwiddie County, widow of Royal Gordon Brooks, died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her residence. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Leo Rose & Bertha Dearing Williams. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leo E. Williams and his wife, Alease S. Williams, and a nephew, Leo E. Williams, Jr. whose wife, Jean Williams is surviving. Mrs. Brooks was a longtime member of West End Baptist Church and the founder of Burlington Garden Club in 1961. She held positions in numerous family businesses, to include: White Oak Turkey Farm, Willco Plumbing & Heating, and White Oak Antiques. She is survived by a brother, Kenneth Lawrence Williams; niece, Vickie W. Spivey and her husband, Danny; nephew, Joel Williams and his wife, Linda, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
