Audrey Dean Edmonds

Audrey Dean Edmonds, 71, of Dinwiddie County, VA passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Born in Prince George, VA she was the daughter of the late William Harvey Ashby, Sr. and Mabel Reese Jones and husband, Howard; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Sterling Edward Edmonds. Mrs. Edmonds had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her son, Michael Saint; two step-daughters, Deborah DeCastro (Ron) and Shirley Knowling; two grandchildren; two brothers, William H. Ashby, Jr. (Ruby) and Gerald G. Ashby; a special niece, Gena S. Lewis (Wayne); and two great-nieces, Shayla and Alyssa Lewis. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dinwiddie Rescue Squad, P.O.
