Audrey Joyner Hooker

Audrey Joyner Hooker, 84, of Petersburg, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. Born in Nash County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Lucille Long Joyner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Clayton Hooker; and daughter, Joyce Ann Early. Audrey is survived by her son, James Hooker (Vickie); adopted son, Jason House; grandsons, Larry Davenport, Steven Davenport, and Jeffery Hooker; granddaughters, Cathy Hickman, Whitley Hooker and Amber Carey; great-grandchildren, Samantha Davenport, Christopher Hickman, Amanda Alfo, Justin Davenport, Jennifer Valadez, Savannah Hooker, Chase Hooker, and Cole Carey; great-great-grandchildren, Baudelio Valadez, Jr., and Jaxson Valadez; and numerous other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
