Audrey Ellen Lunsford

Audrey Ellen Lunsford, 100, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Born and raised in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Waverly Lunsford and Mary Wood Boughan Lunsford. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Lunsford, C. Henry Lunsford, and John Lunsford; sisters, Ethel Epes, Dorothy Lunsford, and Julia Graham. Audrey was a lifelong member of West End Baptist Church. She was employed with the Virginia Employment Commission retiring after many years as Interview Supervisor. Audrey enjoyed gardening, hiking the mountains and traveling the world. She began quilting in her 80’s which developed into a real passion along with her many other talents. Audrey is survived by a host of nieces and nephews: Anita Relyea, Patty Pritchett, Diane Graf, Barbara Lunsford, John Lunsford, Jr., Dorothy Eckley, Charles Graham, James Lunsford, Cary Lunsford, Henry Lunsford, Jr., and Karen Laidler; and numerous friends.
