August "Tex" Rabel

August “Tex” Rabel, 93, of Petersburg, passed away Friday February 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Nettie Rabel and his loving wife of 64 years Mary Rabel. Tex was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 65 years. He is survived by his daughters; Mary Martin, Jackie Johnson, Shirley Horne, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. A mass of the resurrection will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 11:00 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
