Augusta Brantley

Mrs. Augusta Small Brantley, 94, of Disputanta, died Sunday, September 9, 2007, in Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard F. and Hattie Taylor Small, her husband, William Hosea Brantley, and a daughter, Ola Francis Kahmann. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Fay Felix of Disputanta, a son William Hosea Brantley, Jr. of Norfolk, VA., two grandchildren, Anna M. Harr of Disputanta and Michael S. Felix of Frederick, MD. two great-grandchildren Victoria Harr and Caleb Harr of Disputanta and six sisters, Mary Kennedy, Mildred Basden, Reba Jones , Elizabeth Chessare, Gertrude Ballard all of North Carolina and Evelyn Hufton of Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with The Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. Interment will follow on Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, VA. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com
