Ava Black

Ava Louise Black, age 51 of Prince George County, passed away Wednesday July 25, 2012, at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born October 16, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Homer Asa Catron and Barbara Lee Catron. Ava was survived by her two sisters, Barbara Catron and Marie Smith; her daughter Ariana Black, her two sons, Jeremiah Catron and Luke Black; her nephews Joseph Catron, and Guy Smith; her nieces Samantha Smith, and Anna Smith; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Catron, her mother, Barbara Catron, her sister, Martha Ann Catron, and a brother, Homer Catron Jr. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
