B. Sr. George

George Benjamin Moody Jr., passed away Thursday March 17, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late George Benjamin Sr., and Annie Brooks Moody. George was an avid fisherman, hunter, and President of the Ponderosa Hunt Club. He loved talking on the CB radio and was fondly known in the area as Dinwiddie Mule Man. He loved his animals and also made wine for his special friends. He leaves behind his loving & beautiful wife of 63 years, Polly P. Moody; daughters, Debbie Seidel & husband Howard, Belinda Inge & husband Jim Daniel; granddaughters, Michelle â??Buffyâ? Layne and Amy Ruddik; three great-grandchildren, Aaron & Mallie Ruddick, Dawson Layne; four step grandchildren; special nephew, Steve Moody, other numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday March 20, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be in Southlawn Memorial Park on Monday March 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor John Dundalow officiating, interment will follow the service.
