Barbara Joyce Britt

Barbara Joyce Britt, left us for Heaven on Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born on May 20, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Charlie M. and Novie C. Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Britt; sister, Sondra Maynard; daughter-in-law, Debbie Britt. Mrs. Britt was a mother and friend to her five children, Marsha Wiley (David), Brenda Fine (Gene), Wayne Britt (Annette), Chrissy Bass, Joe Britt. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David Scott Wiley (Hope), Susie Wiley Jacobs (Darrell), Trevor Fine (Gloria), Michael Britt (Kellie), Tommy Britt, Jason Bass, Dylan Britt, Jessie Britt; great-grandchildren, Joshua Wiley (Makayla), Jon Wiley (Melissa), Briana Brotzman, Tanner Fine, Easton Britt, Caroline Britt, Julius Bass; great-great-grandchildren, Aubree Wiley and Dallas Wiley; several extended family and friends. Even Though our loss is great, we are thankful that Mama is now at complete rest and peace, and that we know we can look forward to the day that we will be joined together with her in God’s presence. All services are private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
