Barbara “Bobbie” Russell Britton, 75, of Prince George, VA, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 15, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She worked faithfully until the end of her life with her son at his business, Balch Automotive and Collision in Chester.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Bobby; son, Wayne Balch, Jr.; mother, Ann Russell; sisters, Jeannie Balch, Pat Kile, and Annette Russell; brothers, Mark Russell (Mary Lou), and Paul Russell; numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Liz and Lauren Marshall, and Brad Cauley. She was preceded in death by her father, Wally Russell; and one sister, Joi Rose.
Bobbie was the co-founder of the Southern Knights Cruisers Car Club. She was an avid classic car enthusiast throughout her life. She was well-known for her charitable car shows to benefit Muscular Dystrophy.
A celebration of her life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 3110 Greenwood Avenue Colonial Heights, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
