Barbara Ann Hawkins, 73, of Chester, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Born in Raeford, NC, she was the daughter of the late Sandy McNair and Willie Mae Robertson McNair. She is survived by her husband, of 45 years, Paul Hawkins; children, Crystal McDonald, Melvin Oliver, Anthony Oliver (Suzanne), and Consuelo Hawkins; grandchildren, William Christopher McDonald, Anthony Rivers, Diamah Oliver, Vivian Bliemeister, and Erza Oliver; siblings, Ben McNair, Helen Price, Lucille Ross, and June McNair; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Memorial Chapel, 1901 Sisisky Blvd. Fort Lee, VA 23801. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia, VA 23002. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
