Barbara Hines

Barbara Setzer Hines, 70, of Stony Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Born in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Smith Robinson and May Yount Setzer. She was a dedicated office manager for Smith Setzer & Sons for over 40 years. She was a member of Fort Grove United Methodist Church and Stony Creek Chapter 126 OES. She was a loving wife of 53 years to Bobby Dean Hines and loving mother to Karen Hines of Stony Creek and Bob Hines, Jr. and wife, Christine of Colonial Heights. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lindsey, Eric, Brandon, Hunter, Carson, and Roger; sister, Betty Storey; brothers, Neil Setzer and Jerry Setzer. A funeral service led by The Rev. Dan Armstrong and OES funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 2, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1117 Fort Hayes Drive, Petersburg, VA 23805.
