Barbara Eanes Hoggood

Barbara Eanes Hoggood, 76, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Lynn Ward and Wray Ward Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hoggood, Sr.
Barbara was a part of the last graduating class of the old Dinwiddie High School. She was employed with Columbia Gas, formerly Commonwealth Gas, retiring after many years. She went on to work for the Petersburg Water Authority for many years after that. Barbara enjoyed reading, working on cross stitch, and dancing. She especially adored her pets, Squiggy and Collin. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Mark Eanes (Kimberly); granddaughter, Olivia Eanes; and numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to your local animal shelter or SPCA. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
